Now, news on my knitting - I finished the baby sweater (Knitting Olympics) and I'm on to the baby blanket. I will post pics as soon as I can. Very pleased with the way the sweater came out. It is definitely a pattern I will knit again. I really need to get moving on the blanket - only 4 more days to go. The puppy takes a lot of time (and I just love it) so didn't even knit today. We had errands to run and took Koda with us. Everywhere we went people came over to see him, some even taking pictures. One man stopped his car and asked us what breed he was. It was fun:)

Last pic for the night - I need to get back to my knitting:) The puppy was just too tired to go on - so we all had to take a break. At one point he just stopped and laid down. We had to carry him part of the way back. Posted by Picasa

Here's 3 of the kiddies with the puppy - we miss you Shannon - (wish you could have been here:) This pic taken on the beach near our home on Lake Chelan Posted by Picasa

Gina also has Alpaca's. I thought this one was so cute. When we stopped to take pics he/she started to walk towards us. Posted by Picasa

Here's Kristen with Koda at Gina's home. It took him a bit to get used to us - but now it feels like we've had him forever. Posted by Picasa

Here's our new baby - Koda. Isn't he cute?  Posted by Picasa

Here are my Kiddies and Nephew, Don at Christmas. Yes, we still do the matching PJ's. I usually make the PJ bottoms and get shirts to match, but was too busy this year. All the kids were disappointed - but loved these from Old Navy. Posted by Picasa

This is my hubby - Rick with three of the kiddies. This is taken in Kristen's dorm - right outside her dorm room. That's Shannon, Patrick and Kristen with Rick:) Posted by Picasa

Here's my beauty - Shannon. She's in her junior year at WSU (Washington State University) Love and miss you, BabyDoll Posted by Picasa

here's a picture of our little Koda back at the beginning of Jan. For some reason I can't download the pics that Gina sent us - so will have to wait until Mon or Tues of next week Posted by Picasa

Well, it's been a while, but I have been working on my Knitting Olympics project. The baby sweater for my cousin is almost done. I have a few more rows to knit - then I can sew up some seams. I am knitting Yvette's Garter Stitch Baby Sweater (from the Babysweaters yahoogroup)- which is based on the Beribboned Eyelet Sweater from Kids, Kids, Kids book. I just love this pattern. At first it was hard to visualize, but now as I near the end, it's beginning to make sense. I have sent some pics - finally figured it out. So now I feel like I'm really a blogger! Yeah:) I have some good news to share - we are picking our puppy up on Saturday. We can't wait!!! We have everything all set - went puppy shopping on Sunday. I'll post a pic of our little Koda (yup, that's his name). On January 27th he weighed 10 lbs 10 oz, and after talking with Gina, we found out he's around 15 lbs. He's a cutie.

This is a baby blanket for the director of the dance studio that my daughter attends. It's from Leisure Arts - Our Best Knit Baby Afghans - and the design is Little Boy Blue. As you can tell it's not blue - but chocolate brown. I've also put this on hold for the Olympics, but I better get going as the baby was born on Feb 12th... Posted by Picasa

This is one of my Olympic projects. Yvette's Garter Stitch Baby Sweater (based on the Beribboned Eyelet sweater from Kids, Kids, Kids) Posted by Picasa

Here is the 5-hour baby sweater that a lot of us are working on from the Knitbabysurprise yahoogroup. It's on the back burner while I Olympic knit:) Posted by Picasa

This is the Triangularshawlalong that I'm working on using Lorna's Laces Lion & Lamb. I just love the feel of this yarn!! Posted by Picasa

It's been a while since I posted, but have some news to share:) I'm in the knitting Olympics (yeah!!), and I'm a member of Team Ireland. My project is a baby blanket, sweater and booties. I will post pictures as I progress. My cousin is having a baby boy - and this set is for her. I have also been working on another baby sweater, baby blanket, Triangular Shawl - for the shawlalong, and, of course, my FLAK (not very far with this). Also, working on a Clappy for my daughter Kelly. I will post pictures of all my projects soon. But, I will be setting everything aside for the Olympics.
